“We were shocked to our core when law enforcement contacted us with the news. At that moment, we knew our course of action would be to cooperate fully with the investigation, and to inform our school community. It was terribly difficult to share the news, especially since we, too, have so many questions. Other than sharing the facts, there are simply no words that one can offer to explain the unthinkable; the allegations are disgusting. But we made a decision to err on the side of open, honest communication with our district family. On behalf of our staff, students and families, we urge law enforcement to be vigilant with their investigation, and to take swift and appropriate action.”
